44 late models checked in for the $5,300 to win race at the 4/10th of a mile speedway and AK took to the track in the last set of cars to time in 30th quickest with a time of 19.513 seconds. With the invert Andrew started on the pole of the fifth heat race where he jumped to an early lead. Kosiski stayed out front past the half way mark until Tyler Bruening used the high side to make the pass for the top spot. Andrew went on to finish 2nd in the heat race.
Combining the qualifying and heat race points, the All Makes Collision Center, Certified Transmission, Kosiski Auto Parts, Super Clean No. 53 had to start second row inside in the B feature last chance qualifier. Kosiski went on to finish second and secure the 20th starting spot in the 40 lap main event.
Caution plagued was the name of the game for the A feature; and AK used his car to the fullest to make passes on the inside of the speedway. Moving up a few spots every caution, Kosiski raced his way into the sixth position on lap 28. A few more yellows seen Andrew restart in the outside lane in the closing laps, but he couldn’t ever contend for the fifth position. At the checkered flag it was Bruening picking up the win, followed by Tad Pospisil, Justin Kay, Corey Dumpert, Andy Eckrich, and Kosiski in sixth after passing 14 cars.
Kosiski went into night two of the 10th Annual Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals with high expectations, but a bad qualifying lap put the All Makes Collision Center, Certified Transmission, Kosiski Auto Parts, Super Clean No. 53 behind the eight ball early on resulting in a did not qualify for the 50 lap main event.
After putting down a competitive lap in hot laps (7th fastest out of 22 in his group), the team made a small change to try and get a little more speed for qualifying; but the change gave an opposite result as Andrew clocked in with a lap of 18.101 which was 22nd quick out of 23 cars.
Starting last in the heat race, Kosiski jumped to the bottom side of the speedway at the drop of the green moving up three spots on lap one to the eight position. On lap two Tim McCreadie would return the favor passing Andrew back for 8th, dropping back to 9th Kosiski would maintain the position for the rest of the ten lap race.
The 12 lap B feature seen Andrew start tenth and finish tenth; the result would be a DNQ for the second consecutive race with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
