Andrew started fifth in heat race number one in the All Makes Collision Center , Thrifty Car Rental , Dollar Car Rental , Rocket Chassis No. 18. He would patiently use the bottom side of the speedway early on making his way through the field. Taking the lead on lap 8 of 10, Kosiski went on to win by 1.3 seconds over second place Jacob Hobscheidt.

Heat race number two seen AK start outside the third row, but it was 7th place starter Corey Dumpert getting the lead on lap one as Andrew grabbed the second position on the first circuit. Kosiski would lose ground each lap to No. 77, and when the checkered flew Andrew would be 2.6 seconds behind.
